Dr. McA-rthur, S.M., gave judgment to-day in a case in which the Welbngton timber' merchants Industroal Union of employers proceeded against the P rouse Lumber Co. _ Ltd., to reeove rs£3 for money alleged to be due for timber levies ana fces "in accordance with the rules of the Union. Magistrate held that the agreement entered into was one that was in restraint of trade, and .therefore illegal judgment was given for defendant without costs.
