THE INQUIRY. <A JEWELLER'S DIFFICULTIES. SYDNEY, Monday. Before the Labour Shortage Commission Mr Coote, a manufacturing- jeweller, stated that he turned down £IOOO worth of orders a week ago owing to his inability to obtain sufficient labour. He recently sent an order to England for forty men. The demand for engagement and wedding rings was very brisk at present. •
