Channel awaiting to-day's Calais to Dover section of the aviation circuit race. PROM CALAIS TO DOVER. NUMEROUS SUCCESSFUL FLIGHTS. CROWDS OF SIGHTSEERS. (Received July 4, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Monday. Enormous crowds assembled at daybreak, and the -weather was beaaitiful for the aviation competitions. Vedrines "aeroplaned from Calais t 0 Dover. Vidart arrived next, and then Gibert, Beaumont, Kimmedling, {Jari'os, and Valentine. The next to arrive at Dover were Train, Tabuteau, and Renaux, the latter carrying a passenger, Barra being last. Vedrines, continuing his . flight, reached the Ilendon aviation, ground at 5.35, and Vidart got there at 9; Ivimmeiling at 9.4; Beauniont at 9.15. SOME RESULTS AND PRIZES. (Received July 4, 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, Monday, l ' Tabutea Gibert, Barra, and llenaux have arrived at Nendon. Gilbert won the. Cross-Channel Cup, completing that portion of the journey in 37miris. 57sees. Beaumont won £2500 for the .fastest journey from Paris to London,; and Vedarius won for th© fastest journey from Calais to London.
