BARMAIDS FINED. (United Pkess Association ) PALM ERST ON" N., Monday. Two barmaids were each fined 40s and costs to-day oil charges of supplying liquor to a" per.'-■en under the age at 21 yoiita. For the barmaids it was pleaded that they had ""t- sespeetcd the youth, and if tiiey asked people their ages they were insuUed in return. Mr. Thomson. S.M.. said they must ask the ages where any suspic.-on existed. If anyon-e insulted a bait-maid lie could deai'with him if brought before him.
