THEATRE ROYAL.
HAim®D 'S -PICTURES. There was a good attendance at the Theatre Royal last evbning to witness the second evening of Hayward's current- programme of pictures. Every item in the series received a full share of applause, and the great historical film of the life and martyrdom of Thomas a'Becket was alone well'-worth the price of admission. "The Woman Lawyer" is a brightly staged Western comedydrama. and the finale is most amusing. "The Actors' Fund Day" and "Musical Maniacs" are two of the cleverest pictures on the programme, and they should not'be missed' toy those who seek for novelty in the living picture form of entertainment. The orchestral -music i& most acceptable, and adds greatly to the pleasure of an evening at the Theatre. The series will be shown for 'the last time this evening.
