EXPLOSION ON A POWDER CAR.
MiANY PERSONS INJURED. Paass Association.— -Coexmawre. NEW YORK. Sunday. A carload of powder standing in a tunnel at the Southern Pacific railroad near San Francisco exploded, derailing a,n approaching freight train. Many of the train's crew were injured, and tne tunnel wa s wrecked.
