Mrs. Helena Titus, a complexion specialist, trading in, London and Australia as the Ru'benstein Company, sued Mrs. "Winterfeldt, a wealthy New Yorker, for inducing an assistant to break her contract. The evidence showed that Mrs. Titus paid the assistant 12s M a week, but she was Charged f«>' at £l5O a imi'Uith. During Titus' visit to Australij, and New Zealand the assistant accepted an engagement at £250 per annum from Mrs. Winterfeldt, An accountant proved .that the sales of Rubenstein's preparations from the London branch, were worth £12,823 in 18 months. while the .treatment fees amounted 1.. £10.005 in the same period. A verdict ivas given for defendant.
