STATE BRICKS.
THE FIRST ORDER. UNDERSELLING THE CUMBINE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, Thursday. The Government has accepted the first order for State bricks, and has undertaken to supply 100,000 at 26s a thousand, which is nearly £1 cheaper than the current rate of the brick combine. The manager hopes to reduce this price by 5s to 7s when the complete plant is erected. f
