COLLISION WITH A TAXICAB

CHARGE OF NEGLIGENCE. INVERCARGILL, Monday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day Ernest William Challies was charged with culpable negligence, resulting in the death of William Arthur Mitchell. The •case arose out of the death of Mitchell, who, while cycling on the North Road at night, was-' (killed as the residt of a collision with a taxicab driven by Challies. Accused reserved his 'defence, and was committed for trial.
