TROUBLE FEARED AT NEW PLYMOUTH.
Pbsss Association.— Copyright. NEW I'hY.MOrTIt, Wodnes. Trouble is hrrwing with the Waterside "Workers* I'nion here. A conference between 'the shipping men and the Union yesterday proved abortive and this morning tlie Union sent in an ultimatum demanding increased ■wages. The present rates are higher than at most ports. Unless vn agreement is arrived at it is expected that- the men will refuse to work on Saturday.
