The Ways and Means Committee of the Lower House reports on the Farmers' Free List Bill recommending fa.r reaching reductions of tariffs on commodities- which farmers require. The Canadian agreement is held -o be beneficial to agricultural interests. The House, after debating the Reciprocity Bill further, adjourned. The House of Representatives agreed to declaring that • reciprocity was the mrsst [momentous issue before the country since the Spanish-American war.
