HOCKEY.
A CLUB FOR TAPAWERA. A meeting was held last night. D r . Hudson in the chair, when it was decided to promote a hockey club for the district. ' The name of "the new club will be the "Shedwood Hockey Clu'b." Dr. Hudson is the president and the hon .secretary is Mr. Eric Jones. A strong comani&bee has beea formed., consisting of the Misses Wadsworth, Jones and "Mead, and Messrs F. H. Ford, Biggs, M. Jones, L. Wadsworth, F. Hodgkinson. P. Coleman. Mr. Russell Macmahon has been elected captain for the coming season, and the new club should have a successful career. 1
