Add o?ie-haif c:ip of walnuts, broken up coarsely, and lastly, three eggs beaten separately. For the futile frosting use one and one-half teaspoonfula of butter and one-half cupfuls of unsweetened cocoa, one and onefourth cupfuls of sugar, a few grains of salt, and one-fourth cupful of roiik. Heat to boiling point and boil icn minutes. Remove from fire, and beat until creamy. Add one-half teaspoonsful of vanilla, and then pour over cake to a depth of one-quarter inch.
