* CARGO TO BE JETTISONED. (Received 10.5 a.m.) BRISBANE, Friday. An ; uhsucoeesful attempt to refloat the Eastern is proceeding. To lighten the vessel probably it will be necessary to jettison a hundred tons of cargo. The vessel is considered safe unless bad weather sets in. (The Eastern is ashore at Salamander Bank, on the Queensland coast.)
