IMPORTANT IMPROVEMENTS. (United Pbess Association.) WANGANUI, Thursday. The harbour works in progress continue to show good results, the latest soundinigs giviug 15ft 6 inches cm the bar. It is hoped to .get- 20ft width ot extension i.n the breakwater, which ■will be another 500 feet long.
