The International Agriculture Institute reports that the production of winter and spring cereals in 1910 in countries north of the Equator was as follows :—Wheat, 1,035,000.000 cwt. ; rye, cwt. ; barley, . 556,000,000; oats, 1,187,000.000; mp.ize, 1.862,000.000. It estimates the cereal crops south of .the Equator at 144,000,000 cwt; as compared with 133,500,000 in 1909.
