THE IMPERIAL CROWN.
STUDYING NATIVE SUSCEPTIBILITIES. NO ECCLESIASTICAL CROWNING. (Received Jan. 24, 9.30 a.m.) CALCUTTA, Monday. The "Statesman" saye that on the visit to India to be imperially crowned the King and Queen will place the crowns on their heads with their own hands, thus avoiding ecclesiastical participation and hurting the susceptibilities of Hindoos and Mahommedans.
