LABOUR TROUBLES IN GERMANY.
ASSISTANCE FROM ENGLISH UNIONISTS. [Pbess Association—Copyright.] LONDON, Thursday. The Parliamentary Committee of the Trade Unions Congress adopted a resolution of sympathy with the employees of the German dockyards, and calling upon British trade unionists to give every assistance, financial and otherwise. The Newport dockers, claiming a tonnage rate, rui'used to load the Houlder steamer Beacon Grange. despite the award in favour of day rate. The Shipping Federation imported free labourers, some of whom were stoned. Three arrests were made.
