At a meeting of the Society for the Health ol" Women and Children today, a letter was received from Mrs Harris conveying an oiler by Mr Wolff Harris to give the Society the premises and estate at Anderson's liay for const it uing at Karitane Baby Hospital, ami to effect certain improvements in connection with live grounds and buildings. The donor f spros.'ed the hope that the institution would serve as a practical teaching centre for matters bearing on the welfare of the mother and child, and that it will be extended and further sy.st-ematised. It was decided to convey th'e Society's hearty thanks to the generous donor.
