EASTER HOLIDAYS, 1910. The Post, Telegraph, and Telephone Branches of tha'Chief Post Office, Nelsori, will carry out the following arrangements during the Easter holiday, 1910 :- POSTAL BRANCH. GOOD FRIDAY, 25th March, will be observed as a close Post Office holiday. All mails usually despatched on Friday , will be'closed at 7 p.m. on Thursday preceding;' Receiving boxes throughout the city, including the Port district, will be cleared at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday, but not on Friday. There, will be no delivery by letter-carriers !on Friday, but an over-counter delivery of letters usually delivered by carriers will be made at the Chief Post Office between 7 and 8 p.m. on Thursday. SATURDAY, 26th March.-Two deliveries will be made by Letter-carriers as usual. In addition to the usual clearances all receiving boxes in the City and The Port District will be cleared at 5.30 p.m. All classes of correspondence will be delivered over the counter at the Chief Post Office between 7.30 and 8.30 p.m. EASTER MONDAY, 28th March.Mails usually despatched on Mondays after 8 a.m. will be closed at that hour. The receiving bbxt.s throughout the City and The. Poyt District will be cleared only once, at 5.30 a.m. The Chief Post Office will open between .9 and 10 a.m., but only for the sale of stamps, registration and delivery of correspondence, including letters usually delivered by carriers, not for money order arid savings bank business. There will be no delivery, by lettei carriers. GENERAL. Mail Coaches will run on Good\Friday and Easter Monday as usual. The s.B. Manuka will leave Wellington for Sydney on Thursday, 24th March, not later than 11 p.m., Instead of following day, Good Friday. English outward mails to connect with" Manuka; will leave Kelson on Wednesday. TELEGRAPH OFFICE. The Telegraph Office will be open to the Public as follows : GOOD FRlDAY.—Upstairs only, Ha-jifax-st entrance. 9.30 to 10 a.m., and 5 to 5.30 p.m. EASTER MONDAY.-At usuai public counter from 9 to 10 a.m. Upstairs. Ha-lifax-st side entrance .from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. .and 7 p.m. to midnight. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE. The Exchange will be open on GOO?' FRIDAY from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.. and from 5 to 6 p.m. On Easter Monday as usual from 8 a.m. to midnieht. H. G. COOMBE, Acting-C.P.M.
