NELSON DEFENCE KIFLE CLUB

The competition for Wilkin and Field's trophy took place on Saturday and Wednesday afternoons, ranges 200 and 500 yards, 7 shots at each range, the leg-in being secured by Rifleman Catley. The following are the principal scores.—

/The proposed trip to Talcaka and Collingwood will have to put off. owing to most of the memibers having previous engagements. On Saturday afternoon there will be a practke match, ranges 500 and 600 yards.
