TAPAWERA,
Arrangements for the forthcoming horticultural show to be held at Tapawcra were decided at a meeting fold on Thursday evening. It was resolved that Mr. S. Bolton be a.vked to judge the llowcrs, fruit and vegetables; that Mr. H. J. Harris, W'akeh'eld, the domestic produce; that Miss Bell. Wakefield, and Mr S> (Dr.) Andrew, Stoke; that decorated tables and industrial classes; and that Messrs G. Macmahon and W. Kinzett the hops. Committees were appointed as follows: Flowers and pot plants, Miss Barker and Mesdames J. Drummond and Macmahon. Vegetables, Messrs Macmahon, E. Newport j" T. Drummond, and \V. Cowin. Fruit: Messrs A. Drummond, H. J. Jones, Eatwcll, and R. Coleman. Domestic Produce: Mrs. Forsyth and Messrs rhilli])s, Moffatt, and F. Lawrence. Industrial: Miss C. Drummond and Messrs A. Drummond, Motfatt, and Lawrence. It was resolved that Mr. T. Quinnoy erect the tables. Mr. F. Lawrence was appointed assistant secretary and Dr. Hudson secretary.
