J The Nelson Rugby Union fsvwatfled the names of 22 p'.y.'s who had taken part in a Northern Union game there; also the name of the referee, the line umpires, and the secretary, all of whom had been suspended. Tho suspension was made general, add the persons concerned were given a fortnight to show cause why they should not be expelled. The members of the Maori - team which toured Australia last year under tho Northern Union rules applied for reinstatement. They said they had been mislead, and had not known they were doing wrong. It was decided to reply that the Union had no oower to remove the disqualification.
