IMPROVEMENT OF HOKITIKA HARBOUR.
(Unhid Pbess Association.] HOKITIKA, Tuesday. A meeting of tlio Hokitika Harbour Board was held to-night to consider a report by Mr A. D. Bell, C.E. The report was very favourably received, but owing, to its voluminous nature, the Board resolved to juljourn till the sth August for its final consideration. The cost of the proposed scheme as recommended will be übont £35,C00.
