The clay cutting on the first bend of Marsdcn 's road is slowly encroaching on the road. O'Brien's road should be gravelled to the main road, also the water tables cleared nut. On road to golf links there is no soil to cover the «md - and it must be procured elsewhere. Work is being done on Tahuna road. Parts of the back road and Roils' road, Stoke, also require repairs, which will be effected as soon as possible. Something will re quire to be done at Tahnna to proteot the footpath, which has been destroyed . by vehicles. jTho members for Stoko and the Overseer were deputed to report upon Mr H. B. Boatfon's application to havo Parker's road improved and the grade eased.
