ROAD BOAED. The usual monthly meeting of the nbovo Board was hold on Saturday lost. Present! Mt'Sfrs Win. Ooleman (chairman), T. B. C'hlsnall. John Best. J. E. Bartlett. IT. C. Jacka, and A. P. Allport - . The Overseer's report was adopted The Overseer (Mr J. Olen) in his report stated: Have had runts raked in in Best's and Bell's roads; watertables cleaned out both Slides o>f Aniseed Valley hill, and am going on with the patching on Aniseed Valley hill on the plain side. Haycock's and Cbisnall 'a roads require patching, the roads having suffered from traction engine traffic. Paton's road also requires attention. I advise obtaining the gravel from Mr Haycock 's property at Cross ' | 'cutiting, the Board to fill up where" gravel is taken out. McShane 's road ebould be par&S. and liarro"WG<3. afterwards, from Hall's to Fanzelow's corners, and as soon as gorso is cleared from road from Smith's to Cortzon's corner to Mrs "SV. Eden's repairs -will also be done. German Village road alao requires patching. Parker's and Hoath'fl roads, Stoke, also require watertables to be cleared and gravelled. The clay cutting on the first bend of Marsdcn 's road is slowly encroaching on the road. O'Brien's road should be gravelled to the main road, also the water tables cleared nut. On road to golf links there is no soil to cover the «md - and it must be procured elsewhere. Work is being done on Tahuna road. Parts of the back road and Roils' road, Stoke, also require repairs, which will be effected as soon as possible. Something will re quire to be done at Tahnna to proteot the footpath, which has been destroyed . by vehicles. jTho members for Stoko and the Overseer were deputed to report upon Mr H. B. Boatfon's application to havo Parker's road improved and the grade eased. Besolved not to entertain the application of the Copper Development Cn. for refund of amount paid for clearing slips, etc., on Aniseed Valley
