[United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. Inspector Gillies received advice of a fatality at Little River yesterday. A young man named Herbert Jacobsen, aged 22, and his father were driving, when the horse bolted. Mr Jacobsen, senr., jumped out of the trap, while young Jacobsen was thrown out of the vehicle and killed. GORE,' Monday. Denis Tuffley, aged 65 years, who was an ex-rai'way servant, drorjjjed dead while killing a pig at Clinton today. The cause pris-imably was heart disease. Deceased, who was married, was to have left on a. trio to the Old Country on Monday next.
