[United Press Association.} DUNEDIN, Tuesday. Tv the Magistrate's Court to-day in ; the action Alfred J. Buss v. Chemical k Stores Company, a claim for £120 for alleged wrongful dismissal, the Magistrate, though quite satisfied that there had been no fraud or misrepresentation in inducing the contract of employment, was quite satisfied that there was no cause for dismissal. He gave judgment for plaintiff for £54 and costs £8 17s. William John Quan, a well-known criminal, who came out of gaol only on Monday morning, was before the Conrt again this morning for drunkenness, and was fined. For the theft of a lady's companion he received three months' imprisonment, and on a third charge of stealing a watch he was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
