THE SACKVILLE LEGITIMACY CASE.
THE MADRID PROSECUTION. (Pbkss Association.— CopyaiOHi.) MADRID, Tuesday. After the Public Prosecutor had withdrawn the indictment, Lionel Sackville Wast, as intervener, continued the prosecution against Rophon and Sanchez on a charge of conspiracy. He commented upon the fact that Ernest SackvilleWest had not been prosecuted. The jury found the defendants not guilty, and l»oth were discharged. As Anton, the defaulting defendant, is still liable to prosecution, the Court impounded the register alleged to contain the record of the marriage of Duran ; and Olivia, whether genuine or apocry- : phal. The "Daily Mail" states that the Court gave "no decision regarding tho document itself. ■**
