A RAILWAY SERVANT INJURED.

y c DUNEDIN, Thursday. A man named Charles Kecley , a wheel tapper on the railway, was badly injured this morning at Balclutha. He stepped from a carriage platform of the express train standing at the station, and he was struck by a shunting engine then passing at a fair pace. He was knocked a considerable distance, and sustained injury to his collar-bone, and it is feared that his spine is badly hurt. In tho afternoon Keeley was removed to Dunedin, and was conveyed to the hospital. He is » married man, about 56 years of agi>, and he has a c family of six.
