The Sayonara won, after an exciting contest, beating the Thelma by about a minute. A fresh southerly breeze prevailed at the start, but it was lighter towards tho finish of ihe race. fOf the three races for the Sayonara Cup the Thelma has won one and the Sayonara two.]
