UPPER MOUTERE,

WEDDING BELLS.

A wedding which caused considerable local interest was celebrated at Upper Moutere Presbyterian Church on the 4th inst., between Miss Helen Best, second daughter of the late Mr Thomas Best, and Mr Frederick Cnllon, of Nelson. The Church was crowded with relatives and friend^, and was handsomely decorated by 1 friends of the bride. The Rev. I Stanley Jenkin, of the Nelson Baptist , Church, was officiating minister, the bridegroom being well known in Nel- ; son 'as" a prominent ■ member and helper in that denomination. The bride, who looked exceedingly nice in white silk trimmed with lace and insertion, was given' away bjr hnr I brother, Mr Chas. Best, and was -at- : tended by her sisters, Misses Louie and Lily Best, as bridesmaids, and her I niece, Miss ClaricQ -B-est. Mr Percy . Cullen was beat man,- and Mr A.
