RIFLE SHOOTING.
STOKE RIFLES.
The second competition for, Lance Corporal Eden's and Vol. A. Webby.'s. trophy wa3 fired on the Richmond range last Saturday, and although the weather was not altogether favourable;-, some vary creditable scores were put on. The wind was varying from five.' feet to normal. Vol. J. Sharland won the ammunition prize with a score of 95. The ranges were 200, 500, and 600 yards, 7 shots at each. Ths scores were as follows: —
The final competition will ba fired on the Richmond range on November 7th, when the town men will proceed Richmond by the 1.45 p.m. train as before.
