TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — I was pleased to see a letter re half-holiday, and hope some action will be taken before we are left. We have been the laughing stock of the whole Dominion, and I sincerely hope that we will go buck to cur proper lharkut day and not pander to a tew who have pulled the strings and brought about this stata of affairs.
