WELLINGTON, Tuesday. I Mr \V. Hall-Jones, the Minister ' for Railways, was entertained by the Welington Branch of the Liberal and Labour Federation to-night, and was presented with an illuminated address and i gold-mounted walking stick, to mark :he Federation's appreciation of the ■ompletion of the North Island main trunk line. About 250 persons were present, and the proceedings were of in enthusiastic nature.
