CAPITALISTS AND THE NEW YORK GOVERNORSHIP. (Reed. Sept. 29, 8.8 a.m.) NEW YORK, Monday. Mr Bryan hints that the Republicans obtained £50,000 from Mr Harriman, the railway speculator, on the eve of the last Presidential election, when Messrs Rockefeller, Carnegie, Pierpont Morgan, Schwab, and other magnates contributed to Mr Hughes' election as Governor of New York.
