THE GOLDEN BAY CEMENT ) WORKS, Ltd. j (From Our Special Correspondent). i WELLINGTON, Wednesday. i Resolutions have recently been car- ' ried by the shareholders increasing the round capital from £25,000 to £60,000, reducing number of directorate from sine to six, and increasing directors' holdings to 250 shares each. The directorate of the oompany now consists of Dr C. Prendergast Knight (Chairman). Mr Charles Stewart, and Captain Charles McArthur, of Wellington), and Mr M. M. Webster, Nelson. It is intended to issue a further 25,000 shares to the public shortly, and the flotation of additional capital has been entrusted to Messrs J. Martyn, Hume, and Barr, Leary and Williams, of this city, who have in hand a new prospectus setting out tho latest details of the scheme, which provides for at least 400 tons of cement being manufactured weekly by the latest system.
