Lord Dudley, speaking nt "the Federal Speaker's dinner, ndvised the legislators to prevent by all means in their power the appearance of canccrour growths which in old countries sometimes stifled progress and hindered freedom; but at the same time they should remember that although the old countries may have faults, they also had experience.
