CORRESPONDENCE.
MOTOR-CYCLES ON FOOTPATHS. To the Editor. Sir,— The attention of the Police is called to this dangerous practice, for frequently a person on a motor-cycle has been travelling along the.footpath in Cambria-street at top-speed, and again yesterday afternoon this sama person travelled along the footpath at a very high rate of speed, sufficient to kill a child should one have come in contact with the machine. Quite lately a man was knocked over by a motor-cycle and a little child was nearly run over and seriously hurt in Cambria-street. This practice should be put down with a strong hand. Trusting some action will be taken in this matter, I remain, etc., ■ RESIDENT.
