NELSON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
THE BULB SHOW. The first bulb show in connection with the Nelson Horticultural Society will be held in the Drill Hall next Wednesday. Immense numbers of bulbs are grown in and around the city, and theie are the possibilities for a very fine show. All that is required is interest on the part of bulb-growers, and it is therefore hoped that liberal support will be forthcoming, from members and non-members I alike, for the first bulb-show beheld bv the Society. *" It is notified that entries for the table decorations close at Hounsell and Co.'s at 0 p.m. on Monday next. All other entries close on Tuesday up to 6 p.m at Hounsell and Co.'s, and from 7 to 9 at the Drill Hall. Dr Perry, of Petone, who made tuch a fine display of narcissi at the Presbyterian flower show this week, has consented to send over another large collection of flowers for the Horticulture So- , ciety's Show. ' The annual meeting of the Society will i be held at the Camera Club's Room, ■ Hardy-street, on Monday next at 8 p.m. "
