Lord Londesborough's powerful English Eleven, with 408, declared their innings closed. Ranjitsinhji made 101 ; Bosanquet 82. The Marylebone Club's Eleven, which recently visited Australia, made 238 in the first innings, and lost four wickets for 106 in the second innings, the match being drawn.
