Mr Smith was authorised to see if he could make aiS&ahgements for an additional Wf-_£i&4tf,'___d for school purposes at Ranzau. .The Inspectors reported that they had visited Wangapeka as directed with reference to a' site' for a central school. They recommended a site at the crossing of the Sherry Eiver immediately adjoining the footbridge. It was resolved that Mr Corrigan be asked if he is prepared to assign two acres of his property for school purposes free of cost, and that application be made to the Government for a school building. ■ Applications were dealt with as follows .—Nelson,* sundries for, GirlsSchool, £20,-^grarited ; ' Burnett.
