COLLISION WITH A HORSE. SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURED. (Pbess Association. — Copyright.) MARTON, Tuesday. A sensational accident occurred to ' Mr Lynn McKelvie's motor car, with seven occupants, while going home from the Bulls sale yesterday afternoon. The car had arrived some distance beyond the Parewanui school when a horsg jumping from a fence came in collision with it and capsized it, all the occupants of the car being more or less severely i injured. Dr Watson was telephoned for, and Dr Martin, from Palmerston, arrivI cd. Shortly afterwards an ambulance I was sent for, and two sufferers were taken to the Palmerston Hospital, the others being attended to on the spot. Among the occupants, besides Mr L. ' McKelvie, were Messrs Amon (2), J. < i Sim, Atkinson, and two others. Mr • Sam Amon had a thigh broken. Mr ! Bert Amon had an ankle broken and the others escaped more lightly. The car was badly damaged, and the colliding ' horse was killed.
