[Unu* Pnicss Association.] WELLINGTON, .Saturday. The S.mate of the University of New Zealand met vestcrday and elected the Exhibition Science Research s.-holar for the y-':ir. The examiners in England had I::' .'ii unable t<i decide btwe.n the two candidates, Mr A. M. l-'inlavson. M.Sc, of Dunedin, and Mr D. I-i. 'Hanson, B.Sc, of Auckland. After a lengthy discussion it was resolved that the scholarship be awarded to Mr Finla.vson, who wais the Otago candidate this year for the Rhodes Scholarship.
