The weather promised well early this morning for the swimming and rowing championships; but towards eleven o'clock a heavy squall came, over, but it cleared after a time. Light Weight Maiden Pours. — Napier 1, Gisbornc 2, North Shore 3. Won by three lengths. Champion Sculls. — Wkelch (Akaroi) 1, McDonald (Wanganui) 2, Poll (Napier) 3. Also started — Green (Wanganui)' Stoke (Aramaho)rTell (Star). Won by twenty lengths. Maidsn Sculls. — Christiansen (Union, Wanganui) 1, Robertson (Star) 2, Dustin (Gisbornc) 3. Won by a length and a half. Timo, 8.20. Maiden Pours. — Napier 1, Canterbury 2, Star 3. \Von by three-quar-ters of a length. 220 Yards Swimming Championship. — Champion 1, Freyburg 2, I Podge 3.
