CONCLUSION OF THE MEETING.

WELLINGTON, Thursday. The rifle meeting was brought to a close to-day with the match. Riflemen v. Volunteers, and the Defence Cadet match. The Rifle Club men boat the Volunteers by 24 points. A. [Prance, of Karori Rifle Club, was the highest individual scorer, with 95 points. Private H. E. Gale, of Wellington College, was the top scorer in the cadet match, with 62 points. He was only one short of the possible at 500 yards.
