REPORT OiT"the ROUING RIVER. The appended report was furnished by the iMigineer (Air W. A. The water shows very little trace of mineral matter. I * have been unable to get the Health Department's analysis forward in time for this meeting of your Council. I have not gone into the question of route or cost of the scheme, as I confined my investigations strictly to the minute in my business book. Should the Council desire the above information I will be pleased to receive their instructions in this connection." Cr Pettit remarked that it was very gratifying to learn from the report that the Boding River was carrying so much water at tho time of tho K/i---gineer's visits
