GERMAN MOVEMENTS.
AN INCREASED SILVER CURRENCY. MILITARY AND NAVAL ACTIVITY. [United Press Association. — CocyBIGHT.] BERLIN, Saturday. It is reported that the Government proposes increasing the silver currency to the extent of £15,000,000. It is also reported that Germany completely recasts plans for the fortifications in Alsaco and Lorraine, owing to the present plans having been sold to France. As the Government yards are overworked, Germany has distributed among privato yards orders for the new warships wherefore expenditure was authorised last session aggregating £7,500,000. _
