(From Our Special Correspondent.) ' WELLINGTON, Friday.' ! jA table of the proposed endowments provided .for .by. the National Endowments Bill was laid on the tabel of the House to-day. The total, as already stated, is 9,000,000 acres. The areas in the different land districts being as follows: — • Auckland, 900,000 acres. Hawkes Bay 135,000 acres. Wellington 90,000 acres. Nelson 1,350,000 acres. Marlborough 450,000 acres. , Westland 1,035,000 acres. Canterbury- 1,800,000 acres. Otago 2,250,000 acres. Southland 900,000 acres, i The particulars of the acreages of the proposed areas as distributed amongst the^ different survey districts, are given in the tables, but there is no indication of the area contained in each county. The Premier stated that it was intended to have a map prepared showing the location of the various endowments. - -
