THE McCULLOUGH CASE.

The discussion of Mr McCullough's case, through the medium of Mr Barclay's Public Service Reform Bill, waa continued this afternoon. An attempt to apply the closure by moving the previous question was made and supported by the Government, but it -was defeated by 37 to 30, and the debate proceeded for two hours. There was nothing new in the- discussion, at the end of which the first reading of the bill was carried. This, of course is the last that will be heard of the bill so far as the House is concerned.
