TRAVELLIG EXPENSES OF MINISTERS.
A return showing the sums drawn as travelling allowances and expenses by each member of the Executive during the financial year ended March last was laid on the table of the House today. The following are the amounts (shillings and pence omitted, the firstnamed sum in each case being for travelling allowance and the second for expenses charged by voucher : — Late Mr Seddon, £33 and £138; Sir J. G. Ward, £82 and £210; Mr HallJones, £114 and £158; Mr Carroll, £246 and £121; Mr McGowan, £141 and £110; Mr Duncan, £103 and £52; Mr Mills, £43 and £69; late Mr Pitt, £79 and £56; Dr Findlay, £43 and £M); Mr Miller, £145 and £46; Mr McNab, £143 and £112; Mr Fowlds, £159 and £119; total allowances, £1334; total expenses, £1243.
